I am a follower of Jesus Christ. I meet with a group of people in my home town. We are not perfect. I am not perfect, nor do I claim to be. I do not have a theological degree. I have the Holy Spirit. I write from the heart and have been told that it is in a conversational tone. That works for me. I am a husband and a father. I have a passion for the Lord’s Kingdom being seen and realized here and now. I am passionate about His Church. If you read what I write and enjoy it, are encouraged by it or challenged by it, then I am doing my part. If not, I am still doing the best that I can.
I am not a wizard with Scripture. I do not have all the answers. I tend to write from a perspective of this is what I have gathered from Scripture, prayer and dependence on the Spirit to lead me. The things that I share are shared from my perspective and my heart. I do not, nor will I ever claim to be an expert or to have all the answers. I am a man and a fallen (yet redeemed) man at that. I tend to write from the heart and for that reason, I might not have a ton of Scriptural references. Please do not take that to assume that I do not believe in the power of the Scriptures or that they have no affect on what I write. They do, I just did not stop my flow of words to look up the direct reference.
As you will learn much of my writing centers on what His Church should look like, not what it does. I am an idealist. In that perspective, I generally focus on how the heart of the individual builds the Kingdom as we are called to be living stones. Thanks for taking the time to stop by and read my thoughts. God Bless.
